Maggie Anderson
Practicum Student
Maggie is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Social Work with a macro concentration. She is passionate about social justice and community service, with a focus on advocating for marginalized communities. During her undergraduate studies, Maggie volunteered as an advocate for unhoused individuals in Kansas and taught seminars on mental health resources. Maggie has also volunteered helping youth with developmental disabilities find affordable housing, transportation, and job assistance. She currently works with youth with ADHD, helping to improve their attention, cognition, and overall well-being. Maggie is excited to bring her passion and knowledge to the Kansas Council on Developmental Disabilities where she strives to support and be an advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities.
