DRAFT 5 Year State Plan (2027–2031)

The future of disability advocacy in Kansas shouldn't be decided by a handful of people. It should be shaped by all of us!

Over the past several months, KCDD has worked alongside our Council members, self-advocates, families, partners, and community members to develop our Draft Five-Year State Plan (2027–2031). Together, we've identified the goals and priorities that we believe will create meaningful systems change for Kansans with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Now, we need YOUR voice.

Our draft plan is officially open for a 45-day public comment period, and we invite you to read it and tell us what you think. Does it reflect what's most important to you? Did we miss something? What would make this plan even stronger?

Thank you for taking the time to share your voice. We can't wait to hear from you.
