    • As individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) live longer, families, caregivers, and service providers are increasingly supporting older adults experiencing age-related cognitive changes, including Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Recognizing these changes can be challenging, as symptoms may present differently in people with IDD and are often mistaken for pre-existing disabilities, mental health conditions, or typical aging. Understanding the signs of cognitive decline and responding effectively to behavioral changes is critical to ensuring individuals receive timely, person-centered supports.

    • Join Dr. Tracy Davies, DNP, APRN, for an engaging webinar exploring the unique intersection of aging, dementia, and behavioral health in adults with IDD.
